Plywood
Marine / BWP Plywood
Marine and BWP (Boiling Water Proof) grade plywood use phenolic resin bonding tested to survive continuous water exposure, not just occasional splashing. That distinction matters: many "waterproof" plywood claims only mean the sheet resists humidity, while true BWP grade is boil-tested to simulate years of soaking. We stock this grade specifically for kitchens, bathrooms, and any structural application where a bonding failure would be costly to fix later.
Key Features
- Phenolic resin bonding, boil-test certified
- Resists delamination under continuous moisture exposure
- Higher termite and borer resistance than commercial grade
- Recommended wherever water contact is a real risk, not just humidity
Where It's Used
Kitchen and bathroom carcasses, outdoor furniture cores, and structural applications near water.
