Marine / BWP Plywood

Boiling-water-proof plywood built for permanent water exposure.

Marine and BWP (Boiling Water Proof) grade plywood use phenolic resin bonding tested to survive continuous water exposure, not just occasional splashing. That distinction matters: many "waterproof" plywood claims only mean the sheet resists humidity, while true BWP grade is boil-tested to simulate years of soaking. We stock this grade specifically for kitchens, bathrooms, and any structural application where a bonding failure would be costly to fix later.

Key Features

  • Phenolic resin bonding, boil-test certified
  • Resists delamination under continuous moisture exposure
  • Higher termite and borer resistance than commercial grade
  • Recommended wherever water contact is a real risk, not just humidity

Where It's Used

Kitchen and bathroom carcasses, outdoor furniture cores, and structural applications near water.
