High Pressure Laminates (HPL)

The industry-standard laminate core — durable, scratch-resistant, 8×4 ft sheets.

High Pressure Laminate is made by fusing multiple layers of resin-soaked kraft paper under extreme heat and pressure, then bonding a decorative top layer on top. That construction is what gives HPL its scratch and impact resistance compared to thinner decorative surfaces — it's built to survive a working kitchen or a busy office desk for years, not just look good on installation day. It remains the default laminate specification for most residential and commercial casework.

Key Features

  • Multi-layer resin-and-kraft-paper construction
  • High impact and scratch resistance vs. thinner laminates
  • Standard 0.8mm–1.5mm thickness, 8×4 ft sheets
  • Widest colour and pattern library of any laminate type

Where It's Used

Kitchen shutters, wardrobe shutters, office desks, and any surface that needs to withstand daily wear.
